In 2019, WAM had a net exhibition area of 1000 square meters, with nearly 100 exhibitors and 10000 attendees. 329 B2B matching sessions were held on-site, and a large number of exhibitors signed orders, resulting in excellent exhibition and trade results. The Governor of Lagos, the President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos all attended the opening ceremony and cut a ribbon. The high standards are rare in Lagos. The organizer held a series of forums and keynote speeches at the same time, providing a large amount of practical information on developing local markets.


In order to ensure the effectiveness of exhibition and trade, PBC placed a large number of advertisements and reported on local mainstream media and radio stations, including The Nation, The Punch, Market Business Highlights, Vanguard, The Guardian, Daily Sun, etc. And specially invited Nigerian National Television--NTA, Nigeria's largest private television station--SilverBird and Nigeria’s most influential online platform--Connect Nigeria to report and promote the exhibition. Invited the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Household Gift Industry Association of Nigeria, such as HOCAN, AHWAD, Int’l Market Association of Electronics, Gifts And Promotional Items Dealers, Retail Council of Nigeria, COEASDAON and so on to assist in reporting and promoting the exhibition. Besides, more business opportunities are provided through value-added targeted promotion, p-t-p buyer invitations, exhibitors online matching by pre-registration, on-site B2B matchmaking, and other forms.


Lagos International Trade Fair, which will be held at the same time, was began in 1981 and will be its 37th edition in 2023, with a duration of 10 days, is the largest international exhibition in West Africa currently. LITF exhibitors come from over 20 countries, including Africa, Europe, America, and Asia, with an exhibition area of 50000 square meters. The visitors are mainly from Western European Community countries. PBC shares all resources of LITF such as buyers and promotions.
