Chinese mechanical and electrical products are popular in the African market

The keynote speech delivered by the Chinese President at the opening ceremony of the Eighth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation drew a "road map" for China-Africa cooperation in the next three years and for a period of time to come, and started a new journey to build a China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era , It also strengthened the confidence of more enterprises to explore the African market.

 

According to customs statistics, the total trade value between China and Africa from January to October this year increased by 27.4% to RMB 1.34 trillion, while exports to Africa increased by 24.5%. The main exported products were mechanical and electrical products and labor-intensive products, with exports of mechanical and electrical products increasing by 21.4% to RMB 355.19 billion, accounting for 45.4% of China's total exports to Africa during the same period.

 

In fact, Chinese electromechanical products are indeed popular in the African market. Taking Shenzhen as an example, in the first 10 months of this year, Shenzhen's import and export of mechanical and electrical products to Africa amounted to 27.64 billion yuan, an increase of 9.3%, accounting for 52.5%. Among them, the import and export of electrical equipment, LCD display panels, medical instruments and devices, and integrated circuits have seen significant growth.

 

Shenzhen Zhongdian Investment Co., Ltd., one of the top ten export enterprises of electronic information products in China, mainly exports electronic consumer goods such as audio systems, tablets, and smart bracelets. It has close business relations with African countries such as Egypt, Morocco, and Algeria. It is reported that from January to October this year, the import and export trade volume of Shenzhen Zhongdian Corporation exceeded 18 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of over 40%. Among them, the export value of consumer electronics products such as multimedia speakers exceeded 380 million CNY.

 

Along with the growth of trade volume, the trade mode also reflects the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade enterprises. In the first 10 months, Shenzhen's import and export to Africa through general trade amounted to 42.93 billion yuan, an increase of 24.4%, accounting for over 80% of Shenzhen's total import and export value to Africa during the same period.
